How do you define success as an artist? Is it a numbers game -- how much you sell? is it a "praise" game -- how much acknowledgement you receive?
For me, it is both the process and the finished product. Whether it is painting furniture, designing a new bedding collection, or decorating for a fundraiser...I just LOVE TO CREATE!!! It is so invigorating to see the completed project in real life -- on a tangible product, or photos after an event. Praise and sales are bonuses.
I love to surround myself with flowers, animals & magic -- and all that is expressed through my art.. To me being able to paint, decorate & design on a daily basis IS my success. How do you define your success?
